Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about capturing LinkedIn context, building outreach prompts, and using your own LLM.
FAQ
Does it write and send the LinkedIn message for me?
No. Lead Manager builds an outreach prompt with everything it knows about the lead. You copy that prompt, paste it into your favourite LLM to get the draft, then send it yourself from LinkedIn.
Will I pay extra for AI tokens?
No. The draft is written by the LLM tool you already use — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other. Lead Manager keeps the context and builds the prompt; it does not bill you per message.
Does it automatically capture LinkedIn messages and comments, or do I have to paste them in?
You add them yourself. It does not connect to LinkedIn or pull messages in the background. Upload a screenshot of a post, paste the text of a chat or comment, or type in notes as the conversation moves along — each touchpoint lands on the lead it belongs to.
Do I need to connect my LinkedIn account?
No. There is no browser extension, no LinkedIn login, and nothing posts or messages on your behalf. You upload a screenshot of the post or paste in the context yourself, then send from LinkedIn when you are ready.
How do I reply to comments on my own LinkedIn posts?
Save each published post on the campaign (it gets a number like post-1). For each person who comments, capture their profile and comment on that post — one lead per person. Nested replies stay on that same thread. In Prompt Maker, pin the post and the comment thread, then copy the prompt into your own LLM and paste the reply on LinkedIn.
What context does it keep for each lead?
From a screenshot it pulls the person, their role when visible, and what they wrote. You can add more as the relationship moves: your comment on their post, chat threads, emails, and demo notes. All of it stays on the lead and goes into the prompt.
Does it track profile views and reactions, or only messages and comments?
Only what you save: posts, comments, chats, emails, and notes. It does not track profile views, likes, or other LinkedIn activity unless you add that information yourself.
Can I search for a person and see the full conversation history?
Yes, for what you have saved. Search by name on your leads board, open the person's lead, and see everything you have added — their post, your comment, chat threads, emails, demo notes, and so on. It will not show LinkedIn history you never captured.
Can it generate or export a summary we can share?
Yes. The app builds a ready-to-use outreach prompt from the full history for you to paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or whichever tool you already use. For leads further along, it can also generate a short prep brief and let you download it. You can export lead or campaign history as files when you need to share or archive. Nothing sends on your behalf — you decide what to do with it.
Can it export contacts and history into Close?
Not directly. There is no built-in sync with Close. You can download lead summaries and campaign exports from the app and use them however you like, but bringing that into Close is up to you.
Can it prevent duplicate records?
Yes, within a campaign. If you add a LinkedIn profile URL that already exists in that campaign, the app blocks the duplicate and opens the existing lead. The same person can still appear in different campaigns.
How is my LinkedIn data stored?
Your data lives in your account in the app — leads, what you pasted or uploaded, and notes you add over time. When you upload a screenshot, we read it to pull out the useful details; we keep that text, not the image file itself. You can delete individual leads or whole campaigns when you no longer need them.
What's included in the free trial?
You get full access for one month — unlimited leads, screenshot reading, the outreach prompt maker, and campaigns — on one account and IP. After that, subscribe to Pro to keep creating and editing.
How much does Pro cost?
₹999 per month or ₹9,999 per year, per account. Subscribe in the app when your trial ends (or sooner).
Can I delete my data?
Yes. On Leads, Delete lead removes that lead, its sources, and its chat. On Campaigns, Delete removes the campaign and every lead in it.
How is this different from a sheet or a CRM?
A sheet holds names, and the context lives somewhere else — LinkedIn, your inbox, your notes. Lead Manager keeps every touchpoint on the lead, flags who is due for a follow-up, and turns the full history into a prompt you paste into your LLM.
